I am a Registered Nurse, working on the Surgical Floor of a Seattle area hospital. and I love it! I have been doing this-in different hospitals(seeing as I have recently moved--more on that later) for almost 3 years, and I absolutely love orthopedics--bones, and surgical nursing. I dig the blood and guts.
I am interested in a myriad of things, reading, cooking, adventuring, people watching, traveling, --though I haven't had much time for that. I love some aspects of sports, but like most girls, it can get annoying to live with a sportsnut. that being said, I believe in MAGIC!--the Orlando Magic to be precise, and am a member of the Red Sox nation.
I should add hiking to the list, but I don't like crazy in your face, on the edge of a mountain hiking. I am more of a "nature walk" kinda gal. I say this, but I am somewhat regularly coerced into going on what my Sweet Babboo ( or SB and that is how he shall remain named--for blogging purposes) calls "easy hikes" but these are not se easy for me. I have the asthma, and often forget my rescue inhaler--which makes for some fun mountainside conversations. I also think that the hiking guides are wrong in rating their trails and am personally working on my own rating system, involving inhalers, tears, curse words, and a much beloved camelbak backpack...that SB wears...mainly for me.
I have wanted to do this blog thing for a while, and I have a few favorite blogs that I read pretty much daily. As must be customary in Seattle in March, it's windy, overcast, and a little bit rainy out, the dog is sleeping, and I am bored....so I am creating a blog!
I may have Attention Deficit Disorder...so buckle up....
